Yes, Punch Technology does supply a VAT invoice.
The VAT invoice is produced automatically by our back-office/accounting system at the point the PC serial number is registered and assigned to a system in the build process. The VAT invoice is automatically emailed to the main contact on the order and will arrive in your inbox around the same time the PC arrives with you or a day or two after.
Can I ask for my VAT invoice before my PC is complete?
No, we can't raise the official invoice until the PC is complete. If the PC is not yet complete, we don't have a product on our system to invoice and the components used can't be posted as consumed which is a requirement of our system.
Which date do you use for the invoice?
Usually the invoice is dated with the date the payment is made. Sometimes it can be a few days later (especially if your order was placed on a non-working day) and can be the date of import to our system but it will be within the same month as your payment.
Do I loose out on warranty if there is a long delay between order placement and shipment?
No, we take into account the delivery date for warranty purposes.
Can the item description be changed for invoice purposes?
We understand that describing a PC as a gaming workstation isn't always desirable if purchasing for a business. We can amend the item line text to something more suitable if you contact us before the PC is shipped.
