BIOS v E7B84APS.34W
** Only to be used by customers with a Punch Technology pre-built PC **
Your computer BIOS contains lots of important information about the components in your PC build. Keeping it up to date can help prevent hardware problems and compatibility issues with newer software releases.
Make sure this is the correct BIOS for your motherboard by checking your current motherboard version and model before updating it. Simply open a command prompt and copy in the following command:
wmic baseboard get product,manufacturer, version,serialnumber
On pressing Enter, the details of your motherboard will be displayed.
To update your BIOS, please download the attached BIOS file and save it to a USB drive.
Turn off your computer and then power it on again but immediately press the 'Delete' key repeatedly until your computer loads into the BIOS menu. From the main BIOS menu, press the 'CTRL' + 'ALT' + 'T' key combination together to reboot the PC in special M-Flash mode. This may not work on some older BIOS versions so you will need to use the regular M-Flash mode which you can select from the main BIOS screen menu. The PC should reboot into the flash menu.
From within M-Flash, select the new BIOS file you saved to your USB drive. Follow the instructions to flash the BIOS. If asked if you would like to flash the BIOS 'Intact' please select this option.
The flash process will take a few minutes and the PC must not be interrupted during the flash. Once complete, the PC will reboot. Sometimes it may power on and off a couple of times before re-starting.
